Hello and welcome to my website,
In 2002 my street bike was rear-ended by a speeding pickup truck, my helmet broke off my head, and I had an outer body experience. I sustained a traumatic head injury and for the following 7 years, I went to expensive doctors while diving into Class A Narcotics, and denial.
The way out was writing. I wrote a memoir, writing both about the past and the future being a motivational speaker.
In 2010 I joined Toastmasters to step into my future self and tell my story.
Toastmasters was good but it wasn't enough so I interviewed professional speakers like Joe Roberts, got certified by Dale Carnegie and spent thousands of hours researching and developing my speaking skills.
In 2013 I was asked to train Air Cadet Squadron 777, we won first and second place at the national speaking competition and that was the start of my training career, and the first of many podium finishes at all levels of competition including Stanford debates.
In 2019 I started Bisanz Advanced Speaker Training.
In 2022 I joined The Canadian Association of Professional Speakers as an expert on storyselling.
I train and speak weekly with clients from all over the world and one day I'm going to publish that book!

Devin has been a member and event coordinator for the BC Chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
Toastmasters
Devin competed in 30 international speaking competitions, was the past president of his chapter club, and has a thick stack of certificates.
Devin earned the Distinguished Toastmaster award in 2019 and left Toastmasters to focus on his professional speaking career.
Society of NLP
Not only has Devin been trained by the best speakers including Brian Tracy, and the Dale Carnegie course. Devin has also trained with co-founder of NLP, Dr. Richard Bandler. Devin has been a member of the Society of NLP since 2012 and has multiple certifications in social intelligence and persuasion engineering.
